Social Media Detox Project: Day 15
Everything that happens in the world is either because of nature or nurture.
Either it’s because of something driven by the earth or cosmos; or it’s something humans do.
It used to be that information was withheld. It was granted only to the elite, the privileged.
That’s why they were the elite; because they had access to the information, and could therefore profit from it.
It’s not really like that anymore. Everyone reads. It’s something we take for granted but it used to be that the common folk didn’t and couldn’t read.
And with the rise of the Internet, we have access to all the information out there. So now, it’s for us to choose what we will do with it.
Will we try to just make profit for ourselves? Or for others?
We can all be elite because we have access to that information. We just have to be smart about what we consume and how we consume it.
What I Did Today

Something I Learned
One of the worst things we can do to ourselves is take reading for granted.
Something I Read
